Every day after breakfast I make a little cocktail of sorts that is full of health benefits. I make up a batch every few weeks of a mixture of fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 10 medium size lemons) Apple Cider Vinegar (one large bottle) and Local Honey (about 1cup). I add all of the ingredients to a large pitcher and stir with a whisk until thoroughly blended together.
Every morning after we have had our celery juice, coffee, and breakfast, I have this drink. I put about 5 or 6 tablespoons of the mixture into a glass and then pour about 10 oz of Topo Chico sparkling water into the glass and stir. It really is so refreshing and delicious not to mention the health benefits that it brings.
Apple Cider Vinegar is said to have many health benefits including its ability to regulate blood sugar levels, boost weight loss, improve gut health, lower cholesterol levels, speed up metabolism, and provide relief from asthma, depression, and arthritis just to name a few.
Local raw honey also has a variety of health benefits as well, such as helping to reduce the lifespan of colds, reduces the symptoms associated with seasonal allergies, and is a natural antiseptic.
Lemon juice is also great for getting your daily dose of Vitamin C, and to relieve the symptoms of indigestion such as heartburn, and bloating. Lemon juice is also believed to support weight loss, liver health, and strengthen the immune system.
The sparkling mineral water also provides many health benefits but I mostly just love the fizz and the fact that it helps me feel full for hours.
