Last year when my husband was not able to walk because of a very rare infection (he contracted during a full knee replacement surgery) I was researching (aka googling) everything I could to find out how to heal the body naturally.
I came across a social media account called Medical Medium and started reading excerpts from the book by Anthony William called Celery Juice. Below the title of the book , the next line reads “The Most Powerful Medicine Of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide”. So, right away, that got my attention.
I had to find out more about this miracle juice that I saw so many celebrities drinking and crediting for healing all sorts of ailments from skin conditions to depression, vertigo, acid reflux, headaches and migraines and the list just goes on and on. The author claims that celery juice is an unparalleled healing weapon, and more powerful than any superfood!
According to the book, the reason celery holds such a wide variety of healing benefits, can be found in the sodium “cluster salts” contained in all celery. Sodium cluster salts are not there to sustain the celery, to keep it alive, or as a defense mechanism to keep it growing. This is so fascinating and interesting because most plants have these type of components in order to sustain themselves in their natural habitat, or to access nourishment, or for survival. That is not the case for celery. It actually contains these sodium cluster salts for the benefit of the person or animal that ingests it.
So amazing, right?!
Now, I’m not going to give you a science lesson on these amazing “cluster salts” but I will tell you that they are able to neutralize toxins as they are floating through the bloodstream and organs. They fight off unwanted bacteria and viruses. The cluster salts are also able to support the liver in producing bile, and help rejuvenate the liver overall. There are many other ways that these little sodium cluster salts contribute to healing in our bodies.
I went online and bought a juicer as soon as I read the first few chapters in the Celery Juice book and my husband and I began drinking 16 oz. every morning. We have it first thing so that our bodies get the most benefits from the juice. You aren’t supposed to add anything to it because it could compromise its healing benefits. We wait at least 20 minutes before having our coffee so that nothing interferes with the absorption into our bloodstream and organs.
I am not going to claim that the celery juice healed my husband’s knee infection, but I know without a doubt, that it helped his body through that whole period of time he was taking massive doses of heavy antibiotics. He really didn’t suffer a lot of the side effects that those high doses of antibiotics can cause, and I do attribute that to the celery juice.
We both rarely suffer from acid reflux or indigestion any longer and I really believe my skin is much brighter and clearer since we started drinking the green juice every morning. We are sold on the stuff and will continue our morning routine into the future. The only downside I have found in this daily juicing routine is that you need to get a commercial grade juicer and you will be constantly heading to the store for celery or having it delivered twice a week.
I can only imagine what the people that see the amount of celery coming into the house must think. lol
